Dr Harold Silver came to Canada, from London, England in 1957 as a fully trained plastic surgeon.
His first year here he worked in Hamilton before moving to Toronto where he was appointed,as only the second male Doctor on staff of Woman’s College Hospital.

In 1974 he opened the first of its kind,out patient cosmetic surgical clinic, in the
Royal York hotel. He practiced there until 2009 when he retired.

He was a pioneer in his field, leaving behind a strong legacy, to his talent and innovation. He is survived by his wife, Linda, daughter Karen Silver, son’s Adam Silver, Clancy Silver, granddaughters Rosie,Lucia and Kate Silver,and great granddaughter Hazel.

He passed peacefully in his sleep and will be greatly missed.
