We are saddened to share the passing of our wonderful mother, Janet “Wanwee” “Moms” Hansson, who died peacefully in Toronto on Sunday April 3, 2022. Janet was born to Laura and Bert Myers on June 17, 1947 in Toronto, Ontario. Janet deeply loved and gave everything to her family, especially her two children Luc (Michele) and Emily (Paul). She was an exceptional and proud Nana to her 5 grandchildren: Kaia (9), Eli (7), Kallum (6), Odin (3), and Bentley (2). Beyond her family, Janet worked tirelessly to help others through her career as a social worker for children, teens, and young adults. Janet was a charismatic woman who was always full of love, humour and thoughtfulness.
