Hai Thi Truong passed away peacefully the morning of Tuesday September 12, 2023, with the warm love of her family surrounding her.

Born in Vietnam in the mid-1920s, she raised six sons and three daughters, before later travelling across the world to join most of her now-adult children who had settled in and around Toronto.

Mrs. Truong is pre-deceased by her long-devoted husband Tin Nam Trinh, as well as her eldest son.

She will be deeply missed by her eight children, sixteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family members across North America, Vietnam and abroad.

A Celebration of Mrs. Truong's life will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at 1591 Elgin Mills Rd E, Richmond Hill ON. A second visitation, funeral and interment is scheduled for Monday, September 18, 2023 from 9:00 am to noon at the same location.
