It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Guy Guimond at the Ian Anderson House Hospice in Oakville.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie, daughter Brianne Groff (Steve), sisters Nicole and Renee, Step children James (Beverly) and Jean (Dale). Guy was predeceased by step-daughter Mary (Jesse) and brother Pierre. Also mourning his loss are grandchildren Christian and Hannah Groff, Blake Bambury, Abi and Desmond Thibideau. He will also be dearly missed by his Quebec family in Temiskaming.

From forest logging in BC woodlands to high-pressure welding to chemical and adhesive engineering, he experienced the world and its wonders, finally developing his own independent business. His humour, good nature, love of family and friends will be deeply missed.

Our dear friend of 50+ years will be missed for his good humour and Francophone wit. We had many laughs with Guy and created many memories. He was a loyal, supportive friend.

Au revoir mon amie. ❤️😞
