Gunars was in our family for a long time
Married to my Aunt Carmella
We all loved Gunars very much
He loved to cook & we sat at their table many times to eat the delicious foods he made
Always ready to welcome people

I am so terribly sad to see that Gunar has passed away. I met this lovely man at the Port Perry place when I went to visit my Mother in law, Marion. The two of them were great companions and friends and spent a lot of time together because they were healthy and mobile. When we visited, we had great discussions and shared many opinions. He read books that I brought so we always had things to talk about. He was always thankful for company and the food treats, especially blueberries. Although I only knew him a few months, I appreciated his intelligence, kindness, wisdom and courage. I will miss him.
