Peacefully, in his sleep, Shi Guang Gao passed away on the morning of September 3, 2019; he was surrounded by his closest family and friends.

Beloved “Lao Ye” of Liu Lei, Liv Sun, and Panda and Esther Shi Berman; Shi Guang Gao is also survived by his three daughters, Meng, Weimin, and Aidong. He is mourned deeply by his widow, Duan Lian Feng.

Memorial service will be held at York Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, Toronto (416-221-3404) on Saturday, September 7 at 11 am.

We will always remember Shi Guang Gao, as a pleasant, kind,quite family man.
We did not speak a common language, but we understood each other somehow, and were happy to see one another at all the wonderful family affairs.

Heartfelt sympathy to everyone.
Sarah your father was a truly loving,soft and thoughtful gentle person.
I know that everyone will deeply feel his absence.
I will always remember how he prepared and set up breakfast for the girls.
I felt and will always feel very enriched for the short time I knew your father.
