In memory of

Greta Rodrigues

July 9, 1955 -  March 13, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Greta Rodrigues on March 13th, 2025, at the young age of 69. This delicate flower was born on July 9th,1955 in La Brae of Trinidad and Tobago. She was the youngest of 10 siblings.
Greta met Magnus through mutual friends in Scarborough, then eventually married for 28 years. They raised three beautiful children: Felicia, Melissa, and Patrick, where she happily adored her grandchildren; Tianna and Carson. Her pets, Spicy, Trigger, Joey, and Alley, brought relief and joy especially during her days of recovery. Moreover, she had great determination, love, and support for her family.
Greta enjoyed traveling the world, while getting into politics with loved ones around her. Along with that, she had a love for delicious food and sharing laughs with close friends from past work experience. At the same time, she had a keen eye to solving 1000-piece puzzles, dismantling them shortly after she finished. Although, these were the things that made her love life, her faith in God was unwavering. It helped her though the rough times and the times when she counted her blessings for all those she loved. Furthermore, she volunteered at the Church and was not shy about giving love to her family and friends.

Instead of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Heart and Stroke Charity in Greta’s name.

Greta, your happy face, voice, laughter and kindness will follow me throughout my life. I'm sorry I never said goodbye. Tim and I are sad you'll never walk through our front door again, but you'll be there in our hearts.

Love you my friend, rest in peace with God. Until we meet again.
