In memory of

Grace Yan Chi Lee

April 11, 1986 -  September 10, 2020

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Grace Liau (née Lee) 李恩慈 on September 10, 2020 at the age of 34. Grace had fought cancer with faith and joy in the Lord for over a year, and she is now home with Jesus.

Grace was born in Hong Kong in 1986 and immigrated with her family to Toronto at age 9. She specialized in musical arts in high school. Grace completed a Bachelor of Nursing Science and Master of Science at Queen’s University, where she met the love of her life, Andrew, and they married in 2013. Grace shared her contagious joy with her friends and family through shared experiences of food, music, and travel.

Grace will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend, Andrew; by her parents, Kenneth and Joanna; by her sister and brother-in-law, Agnes and Eric; by her parents-in-law, Agnes and Leonard; by her brother-in-law, Michael; and by her dog, Bailey. Grace will also be fondly missed by her aunts, uncles and cousins in her extended family, church family, friends and co-workers.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made. There is a button at the bottom of the page that will redirect you to the cause of Grace's choice (Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre).

Grace,
So many memories are passing through me. Your laughs, smiles, tears...
Our dance to the “I am blue” song, your ducky dance moves, our talk on the bench at Lake Ontario..
How we laughed at each other that we are both Aeries and our personalities crash yet we live together as roommates.....we lived together for three years!!
There were many things that we talked about to do together.. like going on a Disney Cruise....
Now that will have to wait for many many years...
Miss you already Grace.. and Thank you for being part of my life...Rest in peace by God’s side.

This is definitely a sad day. Too young and too soon.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the Lee family and Andrew. Grace will live on in our memories and in all the lives that she has touched through her kindness and joy.

May you rest in peace.

Grace will be deeply missed - her willingness to help and cheerfulness. May the peace of our Lord Jesus be with you until we see Grace again.
