It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Grace, beloved wife and mother, at the age of 49. She left us on 1st April 2025 leaving a void in the hearts of her family and friends that can never be filled.
Born on 29 July, 1975 in Hong Kong, Grace was a beacon of love and warmth. She dedicated her life to her family, nurturing and supporting her two cherished children, Adele & Ayden and her devoted husband, Alan. Her life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and resilience.
Grace is survived by her husband, Alan, her children, Adele & Ayden, her parents, Rockson Luk, her siblings, Dorothy Luk & Alan Luk, and many dear friends. She was predeceased by Elain Luk.
Grace was known for her infectious laughter and her ability to find joy in even the simplest moments, whether it may be organizing family gatherings, volunteering in her community, or enjoying a quiet evening at home. She always brought people together with her caring spirit and unwavering strength.
In addition to her roles as a wife and mother, Grace had a passion for education early on and dedicated for 20 years to shaping young minds. As a teacher at Contton Spinner Association Secondary School, she inspired her students to dream big and embrace learning with enthusiasm. Her creativity and commitment to education were evident in every lesson she taught, and she often went above and beyond to ensure her students felt valued and supported. She touched countless lives with her generosity and compassion, and her legacy will continue through the many lives she influenced. A celebration of Grace’s life will be held on 25th April 2025 at 1-3pm at Elgin Mills Cemetery. All are welcome to join us in remembering a remarkable woman who brought love and light into the world. In lieu of flowers, honouring her dedication to every part of her life.
Though Grace may no longer walk among us, her spirit will forever remain in our hearts, reminding us to cherish every moment, love deeply, and support one another as she did throughout her life.
