In Loving Memory of Grace Khairullah

Grace Khairullah, born on March 20, 1929, in Pune, India, entered into eternal rest on October 11, 2025, at the blessed age of 96. Her life was a shining example of faith, love, resilience, and service, and she leaves behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by her family, friends, students, and community.

Grace received her early education in Pathankot, India, at Avalon High School, later completing her teacher’s training at the Junior Anglican Vernacular School. After the Partition, she moved to Lahore, Pakistan, where she earned double master’s degrees in Education and History from Punjab University. With passion and purpose, she dedicated her life to teaching and went on to become the respected Principal of Saint Andrew’s Church School in Lahore.

In 1973, Grace moved to Toronto, Canada, where she continued her calling as an educator, teaching in several schools across the Greater Toronto Area. Beyond her work in the classroom, she was a tireless community activist, known for her compassion and her unwavering efforts to support persecuted Christians in Pakistan.

To her family, Grace was the heart of the home — a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her smile could brighten the darkest day, her laughter carried warmth and joy, and her love was an anchor of comfort and strength. She lived every day with dignity, faith, and true grace, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met.

She is survived by her loving son Shahrukh (Bobby) and daughter Lubna (Honey); her four cherished grandchildren, Shawn, Shali, Jason, and Xavier; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Zayaan, Zara, Lelandra, and Isaiah. Each of them carries within them the values she instilled and the love she so freely gave.

Though she has left this earthly home, her spirit will forever live on in the countless lives she touched, the lessons she taught, and the memories she created. Grace Khairullah will be deeply missed, profoundly loved, and eternally remembered.
