In memory of

Grace Etyemezian

October 29, 1937 -  March 6, 2022

Our mothers’ prayers were answered and God called her home on Sunday March 6/2022.
She was truly the most humble woman. She was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife ( Varouj) , mother to her 3 girls ( Arda/ Vahan, Ahnie/Viken, Taline/Lloyd) grandmother ( Varouj( Talar)/Shant(Tamar)/Hagop/Suren/ Emilia/Tianna) and great grandmother to Natalie Grace, and Aram Vahan.
Her deep devotion also extended to her faith having become a Jehovah Witness decades ago and was exemplary in how she lived her life by her beliefs. She never sat still but was always busy doing for everyone.
She was the epitome of unselfishness, kind and visited with many forgotten elderly people as she also lovingly looked after her own parents setting an example for us to follow.
She was amazing in everything she did… gourmet cook, talented painter, artist, decorator, sewing beautiful outfits for us among her many talents as well a loyal employee at BATA international her entire career.
We wish to give thanks to our friend Andrea, a Jehovah Witness who with great kindness ensured mom attended her JW meetings every week at the Kingdom Hall for the past many years as her decline with Dementia no longer allowed her that independence . We are grateful for Bev who came into her life after Dad died and was a loving caregiver, like family to her until the end. We also wish to recognize the many incredible devoted staff at North York Seniors Health Centre where she spent the last few years including, Vicky, Amy, Nazlin, Anna, Rowena, Simone among other wonderful staff who treated mom with dignity , respect and kept her safe until the end.
Rest in peace Mama.
A private family funeral will be held Friday, March 11 at York Cemetery Funeral Centre. In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to the Armenian Day School where her grandchildren attended school. https://acc.akaraisin.com/ui/ARSArmenianSchoolTelethon2022

Such a great person leaves an indelible footprint. She was so much a part of our lives, we are all better people for having known such a kind and caring and nurturing person. I miss her already. May God bless her soul; and give you comfort as well. ❤️❤️❤️
