In memory of

Gloria Raley

December 21, 1947 -  June 18, 2024

Gloria Raley passed away peacefully on June 18, 2024. She left us in spirit in her favourite place, staring out at the water in Bermuda, and left us in body at Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital. Gloria will be dearly missed by her beloved husband of 54 years, Larry. Cherished mother of Adam (Cindy) and Lauren (David). Loving sister-in-law of Linda Raley. Born in Toronto, on December 21, 1947, to Don Rallis and Frosa Rallis (nee Naumoff), the third of three daughters; predeceased by her sister Florence (late Nick) Michail and survived by her sister Victoria (late Steve) Dranitsaris. Gloria was a kind and patient woman who cared endlessly for her family. She greeted everyone with a smile and loved a good chat. Her happiest moments were spent travelling the high seas, watching the waves, or just simply being surrounded by her family. She dedicated her career to teaching young children and was passionate about the importance of education past her retirement. We will miss her every day. Friends and family can attend on Saturday, June 29 at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre (375 Mount Pleasant Rd) from 1-3 pm for the viewing, funeral service and light reception. The funeral service will start promptly at 2 pm. If desired, donations may be made to an animal charity of your choice.

Larry,

I was incredibly saddened by Gloria’s passing. She was always so thoughtful and kind. She will truly be missed by many. Losing a spouse is so hard. Be kind and gentle with yourself as grief comes in waves and you have friends, family and most importantly, your children to support you wherever you need someone to carry you. Love never dies and neither do the memories, hold them close. Gloria’s love for you is everlasting.
