Gloria Jackalean Francis, beloved wife of Joseph Frederick Francis (dec’d) passed peacefully July 29, 2022 in the company of her nieces and nephew. Her kindness, honesty and generosity will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Family and Friends will be received at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & VISITATION CENTRE (625 Birchmount Rd. north of St. Clair Ave. E. Scarborough, 416-267-8229) on Saturday September 17th, 2022. Guest will gather from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. A graveside service at 12:00pm will be followed by a reception at the centre from 12:30-2:00pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Gloria was a very special person and good friend to many. Quiet, wise, hard working, loyal, generous, and ever so thoughtful - and more. She and Joe loved each other dearly. In recent years, we seldom spoke. She did always share how supportive her nieces and nephew have been and for that I have always been comforted. I called her in July to wish her a Happy Birthday and we were only on the phone for seconds. I am deeply saddened. I have many lovely memories. RIP
