Glenn was an amazing human being, always a smile on his face, enjoying the moment. His love for Liz and their family knew no bounds, he was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, in law and friend to many. Amanda & I count ourselves very fortunate to be included in this group. We enjoyed many great times playing music and shooting the breeze with Glenn over the years. The Coldwater gig will continue to be engrained in my mind, I am so glad we were able to spend that afternoon together.
I know his presence will be felt in gigs to come- until we jam again, soar with the eagles, Glenn.
You will be missed Glenn
You will be miss Sir. Our condolences to the family.
Taken much too soon. Glenn and Liz started as clients but quickly become friends. He'll be missed by so many. RIP
What words can I find to adequately define perhaps the most friendly person I have ever know. Here is our story.
I was out trolling for some musicians to form a band and was told of a bass player jamming at the Flying Squirrel in east Oshawa. I walked in and heard the blues playing. There was Terry on the keys and Glenn playing bass. The rest is a blur. I watched and listened to Glenn’s playing and was instantly hooked. I waited until they took a break and immediately caught Glenn. I introduced myself and we began to talk music. I had intended to ask Stuart if he wanted in and Mr. ‘E’ Train was born. Michael was already drumming for me. What a band, what memories we created, good and a couple bad, but all in fun. We all had fun performing. To me, it was great.
So, to a very Great man and solid bass player. There will never be a Mr.Fabulous other than my dear friend Glenn Ellis - Rest In Peace until I arrive. LOVE.
