Glenn died peacefully at Revera Leaside Assisted Living on January 18th 2022. He will be fondly remembered by his wife Rochelle Baum, daughters Lynn(David Thomson) and Karen (Saul Rajsky) and Rochelle’s children Joel, Steven and Debra. Born in Montreal to Florence and Oliver Giddings Glenn spent his early life in Granby, Quebec. His family owned a furniture manufacturing business there. At the Royal Military College in Kingston he studied electrical engineering. He also became a navigator in the airforce with his friend Don Wright as his pilot. He also made many friends there, particularly Earl Law and Lawlor Rochester.

Glenn travelled to every corner of the world, was an art enthusiast, opera lover, a pool shark, a par golfer, a sailor and a bridge player with his friend Earl. A gentle man with a big smile and infectious laugh, he lived a big life and had an even bigger impact on the lives of those who loved him.

Glen was a good friend over the 20 years we have known him. I took courses with him at Ryerson....The last few years have been very difficult for him. He was no longer able to play golf and his closest friend was gone....walking became more difficult and the Pandemic made it even harder. My husband Bill , just said, "He was really a very nice guy". We will miss him. Bill and Fran Gruber
