In memory of

Glen Cowan

September 19, 2021

Glen Everett Cowan passed away on September 19, 2021 at the age of 61yrs.
Son of Everett and Shirley Cowan, survived by his brothers Roger, Jim and Mike, sister Claire, children Madeleine and Aleksander, and wife Michelle Abe. Glen is lovingly remembered for his artistry, curiosity, creativity, charm and charisma. He was most at home in the kitchen or garden, building, cooking, cycling or painting. He was the host-with the most, always greeting everyone with a cheeky smile and a twinkle in his eye. He had a deep appreciation for nature, as well as a refined taste in culture. He felt as comfortable deep in the wilderness as he did sipping coffee in European world capitals. Glen always considered himself a very lucky man. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed staying up late and ‘solving the problems of the world’. He spent his final week surrounded by family. May he now be in peace and in health, for this or something better. We love you forever, Glen.

My husband Steve and I were very sad to hear of Glen’s passing. I met Glen a few times at my nephew Andrew’s house and Steve & Andrew worked together on Glen and Michelle’s home. He was a sweet man and we wish his family peace.
