In memory of

Gladys Shure-Ming Lee-Shanok

April 8, 1945 -  March 20, 2025

Our dearest Mom & Popo, Gladys (Glad, Ah Sook) Lee-Shanok passed away peacefully at home the morning of March 20, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving family in her final moments, as they held her hands and shared expressions of deep love and gratitude. Gladys entered the heavens, welcomed by God and her husband, Peter (Jean Pierre) Lee-Shanok - together again after 12 years apart.

As per her wishes, a private family service will be held to honour our dear Mom & Popo's life. She will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever in our hearts until we meet again.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all who have provided condolences, prayers, support and sweet memories of Gladys during this time of great loss.

Memorial donations may be made to the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care (via Sinai Health Foundation). If donating online, the following Recipient Information may be used: Name: Lee-Shanok; Email: gladys@leeshanok.ca

Aunt Gladys was more than an aunt to me. She was like a second mother, my confident, my friend to whom I could relate my problems, my sadness, my joy. She will always encourage me and give me good advice.

It is a great loss for me and I will miss you aunt Gladys. Rest in peace now that you are with tonton Jean Pierre.🙏🙏🙏

Dear Ah Sook Yee Yee,

Thank you for being a wonderful auntie to me and thank you to your family for giving me some wonderful memories as a kid. You were a loving mother, caring auntie, and the most thoughtful grandma a family could ever ask for! I wish I could have seen and visited you one more time and I wish my own family could have met you, but I know you are at peace and looking down on us from Heaven with Ton Ton Jean-Pierre. We love you very much and will miss you!

Love,
Brian, Shannon, Brendan, Sabrina, & Blake.
