Gladys Mary Shank

February 5, 1942 - July 21, 2022

Surrounded by loved ones, Gladys passed away peacefully on July 21, 2022, at Innisfree House in Kitchener at the age of 80.

Gladys will be forever remembered and cherished by her husband Don. Gladys was a loving and forgiving mother to her children, Esther, William, Terry, Roger and Tammy and a very proud and caring Nanny to all her grandchildren, Alicia, Alex, Natalie, Taylor, Joey and Ray.

Gladys grew up in a large family and is survived by her sisters June and Betty and brother Patrick.
Gladys was a born-again Christian who made a renewed commitment of faith for which she based all her life decisions.

A memorial visitation service will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at The Simple Alternative Funeral Home in Pickering, 1057 Brock Road, 905-686-5589. A graveside service will follow at Duffin Meadows Cemetery (2505 Brock Road North).

If desired, memorial donations may be made to Innisfree House in Kitchener or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
