With shattered hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Giovanni “Mike” Michael Robinson. Mike was the cherished husband of Rachel and the proud, adoring new father of baby Farrah. He was the beloved son of Rob and Josie, and a devoted brother to Ryley (Chris) and Jacob (Jessica). He will also be deeply missed by his loving in-laws, Tom and Margaret, and his brothers-in-law, Andrew (Sasha) and Brady. Mike leaves behind many extended family and friends who loved him deeply.

Mike’s laughter, loyalty, and boundless love lit up every room he entered. He had a gift for making everyone feel seen and valued, carrying himself with a rare blend of calm steadiness, playful competitiveness, and deep respect for others. His presence was magnetic—whether sharing a joke, lending a hand, or simply standing by your side, Mike made life brighter.

To know him was to love him, and his memory will live forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to share in his life.

God has you in His arms, Mike. We will always hold you in our hearts.

Family and friends are invited to join us in honoring and celebrating Mike’s beautiful life at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE (1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, 905-579-6787). Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 1, 2025, from 2pm – 8pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday October 2, 2025, at 1pm, with visitation from 11am until time of service.
