February 14, 1943 - November 26, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Giovanna Crognale on Wednesday November 26, 2025 at Revera Sherwood Court Long Term Care Home.

Giovanna was the loving mother to Rosa (Pat), Gabe (Margaret) and Pino. Grandmother to Lavinia (Michele), Lino (Alice), Andrew (Gabi), Nicole (Tyler), Jessica (Daniel), Mark (Cristina) & Tina (Brandon). Great Grandmother to Rachel, Eva, Emma, Boston, Jackson, Benjamin, Gaetano, Lucas and Milena.

Giovanna will be deeply missed by her sister Nina and sister in law Graziella as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Giovanna loved to take care of family & animals, putter around in her garden and visit with extended family and friends. She loved her church and was a dedicated congregation member.

Mass and Entombment details are below and in lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made in Giovanna’s honour to the Ontario SPCA or the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.

Giovanna will be so missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

I have fond memories of Zia Giovanna.
Her love her smile and her laughter. She was a very kindhearted woman and she will be missed. My deepest and sincerest condolences.
