In memory of

Gilda Ivy Magee

December 12, 1929 -  April 21, 2020

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gilda (Gramma) Magee at the age of 90, in the early hours of April 21, 2020 at the Orchard Villa Retirement Residence in Pickering. In earlier years Gilda, affectionately known to all as Gramma, loved to have family dinners where she cooked her famous meatloaf, roasted potatoes with all the trimmings or the best Mac and Cheese. Gramma was famous for her amazing homemade French Fries and gravy. She would whip up a batch at any time. She loved to feed her family. Gramma was a waitress for over 40 years and if you visited her at work you could see her carrying three plates of food up each arm. She was a magician when it came to serving her long time customers. Gilda is survived by her grandson Dustin (Mirjana) Magee; granddaughter Casey Magee (Jeff Dunham); granddaughter Sabrina Magee; daughter-in-law Teresa Magee; great grandchildren Trinity Magee (Greg); Justice Magee; Logan Kucey; Tane Magee; Chase Magee; daughter Roberta Magee and family; sister Jaye Novak and family; extended family Barb and Howard Campbell. Gilda was predeceased by her husband Robert; son Paul and brother Keith. Gramma loved her family dearly and will be terribly missed by all. Given these uncertain times, there will be no service. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
