January 7, 1938 - December 31, 2023

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our kind and loving mother, Gertrud Scheefer, on December 31, 2023 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Wolfgang Scheefer (2022), mother of Heidi (Michael) and Thomas (Lucy), Oma of Whitney, Breigh and Alexandria. Gertrud will be greatly missed by extended family and many friends. Visitation will take place on Sunday January 21, 2024 at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, 905-579-6787 from 11 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 12 noon.
