WINTER, Gerry

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Henry Gerald Winter on December 5 2023 at Winchester Glen Retirement Community at the age of 59. He is preceded in death by his father Henry Winters and is survived by his mother Marion Winters. Gerry is the proud father of Megan and Amber and the loving papa of Malakai. He is cherished by his siblings Shirley, Sandy, Sheila, Lisa, Kathy, and George. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the caring and compassionate team of Winchester Glen, who treated Gerry with both kindness and dignity. Services will be held for close friends and family only at Thornton Cemetery & Funeral Centre (1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa) on December 17 at ten o’clock in the morning with a reception to follow. Flower donations are accepted, or monetary donations can be made to the Humane Society in Gerry’s name.

You will always be my number one Ninja. You will be my biggest cheerleader, my biggest supporter, and forever my very best friend.

The world is just a little less bright without you in it, but I know you’re watching over us, as you promised you would and I promise to continually make you proud and keep an eye on Ambi and lil man like I said I would.

Forever in our hearts, and the best guardian angel.
