Hey Gerry we sure are going to miss you a lot. You were an original. with your funny stories and comments and doing the hockey sports page stuff with your buddy Rick and Dennis and the others. It was always fun to see you roll in on your big rig and chat and have a coffee.
All the best Buddy, I am sure someones gotta waiting for you
Cheers, Jack
Gerry.......ive had the pleasure of getting to know you over the last few years ....and no matter if it was sports....politics...music ....even the weather...u knew how to make me laugh. Some of the best times was just people watching and giving random ppl nicknames. No matter how many hours ive spent sitting and chatting with you ....even if u fell asleep ...it was never boring.
Ive been to country style a couple times sense u been gone and its not the same for me anyhow.
Gonna miss u buddy.....tell i see u again ....RIP OLD MAN
We are very sad to learn of Gerry's departure from this Earthly plane -- Gerald was a memorable man for sure, with his witty East Coast humour, and sincere nature. He was a regular presence (and customer) at the local Country Style coffee shop (located very close to Midland Gardens nursing home). I remember Gerry used to drop by with his then-lady friend, Irma, for a coffee and light lunch or snack -- that was a very amusing time for them and others who chatted with them!
We Cliffsiders shall miss Gerry very much, but we wish him well in Heaven!
Our sincere condolences to his daughters, grandchildren, other family and friends.
With blessings,
Roslyn and Jack
Lisa and Lori,
I know we don't know each other well, but I wanted to express my condolences on the passing of your father, my Uncle Gerald. I only met him a few times but his funny stories and stories of him from my mom, Marg, and Aunt Betty Bennett are forever etched on all of our minds. We are so sorry for your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
