Georgia Labrakos

February 28, 1966 -  April 17, 2023

Surrounded by her loving family, Georgia passed away after a courageous year-long battle with gastric cancer on April 17, 2023 at the age of 57.

Georgia will be deeply missed by her husband of 38 years, John, their children Andreas, Georgios Nektarios and Dimitra Mandy (Mauro Cinelli), her parents Georgios and Irene, her sister Vasiliki (Mihalis) and brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Georgia will be fondly remembered for her love and devotion to her family and faith, her sense of humour, her hospitality and delicious baked goods, and her passion for teaching young Greek-Canadians the Greek language for more than 20 years.

Visitation services will be held on Thursday, April 20 at 5 - 9 p.m. at Evangelismos Hellenic Orthodox Church at 399 Farewell Street, Oshawa. The funeral will be held on Friday, April 21 at 12 p.m. with burial to follow at Thornton Cemetery.

Flowers can be delivered to Thornton Funeral Centre, 1200 Thornton Road North Oshawa, L1J 0C9.
