April 13, 1933 – May 12, 2020

Georgette passed away peacefully in her 87th year at Carefree Lodge. She was predeceased by her loving husband Jamil Noursi.

Georgette is lovingly remembered by her children: Freda (Giries) Ghandour, Hilda Noursi, Zaghloul (deceased), Charles (Samia) Noursi and Diana (Gordon) Scott.

Georgette was the beloved Teta of 8 and Great-Teta of 12 to Nadia (Mario) and their children Lucian and Vita; Georgina (Simon) and their children Anthony, Leanne and Carlos; Jennifer (Dimitri); Christina (Nassim) and their daughters Nadine, Celine and Cynthia; Jaclyn (Nabil) and their sons Christian and Jacob; James (Laura) and their daughters Rachel and Melanie; Jillian (Elias); and Gordon James.

Georgette will be dearly missed by her siblings: Abed, Anton (deceased), Raja (deceased), Spiro (deceased), Samira and Sami, their spouses and her nieces and nephews.

Georgette will also be missed by all of her cousins near and far.

The family would like to thank the staff at Carefree Lodge who cared for Georgette the last 3 years; especially the last few weeks during the pandemic when the family could not be at her side.

Our memories of Georgette will be eternal.
