Peacefully, passed away surrounded by her loving family at Mt. Sinai Hospital on January 18th, 2017. Georgette is now reuntited with her beloved husband John. Survived by her loving children Ann(Robert Slater), Lynn(Patrick McDonald), rene(John Vandersluis), Alan and John(Kara-Lynne). Adored by her grandchildren Michael, Kyle, Kelly, Adam, Laura and Bryan and her great-grandchildren Jackson, Lucas, Ella and Ava.

Georgette was very active in her community, a proud member of The Saint Mary’s Catholic Women’s League. Volunteerism was also extremely important to Georgette as for many years she split her time between a variety of charities including the “First Bite Breakfast “ at the Knight’s Table in Brampton. Perhaps her most inspiring assistance to her community can be seen in the over 700 hours of dedicated volunteering Georgette provided the William Osler Health System.

For the past two years Georgette was an engaged resident at the Beechwood Revera. There she made many new friends and enjoyed dividing her time between her active social life and treasured time with her family.
