In memory of

George Topaloglou

March 22, 1939 -  February 1, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Topaloglou, peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital, surrounded by his family. Loving father of John and Angela, son in-law Todd, devoted grandfather to Nicole, Victoria, and Alexia, and great grandfather to Savanna.

George came from Greece in 1966 with next to nothing and from that modest beginning, he built a home and life for himself and his family here in Canada. He will be remembered as a hard-working business owner, great neighbour, helpful friend, and loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

Family and friends are invited to Elgin Mills Funeral Centre, 1591 Elgin Mills Rd, Richmond Hill on Monday February 4, 2019. Visitation will take place from 5-9pm, with Service at 7:30pm.
Graveside service to be held at 11am on Tuesday February 5 at Elgin Mills Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in memory of George Topaloglou be directed to "The Palliative Care Unit," in care of The Sunnybrook Foundation, 2075 Bayview Ave, Toronto, ON, M4N 3M5. 416-480-4483.
