Theo George lent my dad $5000 when I was just a little girl to pay off a second mortgage on our house in the 1970s. We might not have been able to keep our home if he hadn’t trusted my dad to pay him back. He told my dad to pay him when he could and not to worry about it. He wasn’t rich himself, he was just a very kind man.

I remember it even as an adult because it made such a difference in our life and on my dads stress. I remember my dad was so relieved, it brought him to tears. That was only the second time in my life I saw my dad brought to tears.

I will always remember your kindness and know that you are in a better place. We wish Thea Roula and Andy all the best and hope to be able to help you some day.
