It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Georges Barbet on June 13, 2023 at North York General Hospital, aged 94 years. Survived by his devoted wife, Jennifer Mary Barbet. Loving father of Thierry Barbet of Estivals, France. Predeceased by his parents, Albert Adrien Barbet and Marie-Jeanne Bigerelle. In memory of Georges and in lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the devoted and compassionate care of Rose which allowed him to remain in his home for the last years of his life as he wished.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel at York Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Ave., Toronto, Ontario to be followed by Interment at York Cemetery. All are invited to a reception in the Willowdale room, immediately following the service.
