In memory of

George Touzis

January 17, 1954 -  October 31, 2024

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Touzis. He passed away suddenly on October 31st, 2024 at the age of 70, at Southlake Hospital.
Beloved husband to Rose of 45 years. Loving and loyal father to Daniel (Julie) and Elaina (Matthew). Caring and proud Dedo to Robert, Mya, Matthew, Nicholas, Mikayla, Daniel and Olivia. Dearest son-in-law to Anna and Raffaele (predeceased). Cherished brother to Mary (Jack) and brother-in-law to Jenny (Elio) and Rocco (predeceased). Fondly adored by his niece and nephews John (Sandra), Anthony (Alexis), Alex (Athalie), Jaclyn (Ryan), Adriano (Veronica), Roberto (Daniela) and Michael (Alyssa). Respected nephew, cousin, and friend to many.
Born on January 17, 1954, in Florina, Greece to Pantelis and Thomai (predeceased). George’s love for cars was evident to all who knew him from a very young age. He turned his passion into a lifelong career as an Automotive Mechanic. As a young father, George devoted most of his free time to coaching both children. Their soccer teams always held a special place in his heart. What George loved above all else, was family. His pride for his children and grandchildren was known by all.
While a beloved husband and father has departed, many have lost a friend and loved one. He was the family’s rock and will forever be remembered for his wisdom, unmatched mechanical skills, love for Greek traditions, faith in God, and of course, the Road Runner.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to family and friends for their continued support during this very challenging time. May George live on through stories, traditions, photographs, and memories.

Forever in our hearts. We love you.
Rose, Daniel & Elaina

George and I were classmates at Birch Cliff Heights.
Growing up on Haslam street it was a short hike to see George. We went to Birchmount CI and lost track after a few years.
Lately we would chat cars as I write for old autos.
We talked of getting together but it never came to be.
He was only a few months older than me and taken way too soon.
RIP ol
Pal
