George Racette

October 13, 1945 - September 2, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of George Racette. Survived by his wife of 33 years Rosa Racette (nee Alberga). He will be missed by her all of his extended family and close friends. George was an amazing husband, son, brother and uncle. He left a footprint wherever he went. Services entrusted with The Simple Alternative - Pickering (1057 Brock Road, 905-686-5589). Visiting will be held on Sunday, September 15th, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm with the service at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association.

I have had the pleasure of knowing George for over twenty years. He was a thoughtful, caring and loving individual. Completely devoted to Rosa. I will miss his warmth and good nature.

It filled me with sadness to hear of his passing , but going back on memories with Georges I couldn’t help but smile . I can still see that mischievous smile of his . Rest In Peace George and make them smile up there !❤️

I have known George since I was just a kid. George and my dad worked together for many years and where also great friends. I will never forget the day you took me on your motorcycle as I was too scared to go with my dad.
George you will be missed dearly!
