George Oswald Bing Duggan

George Oswald Bing Duggan, was 88 years old when he was called home to Almighty God. On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, he passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Gardens Long Term Care Facility in Ajax, Ontario, where he was lovingly cared for. Born on November 11, 1936, in the MacKenzie Hospital, Linden, Demerara River, British Guiana (Guyana), South America. The son of Lyra & Jusin Duggan. He leaves to mourn, his wife of 63 years, Patricia Duggan, Gregory & Michelle Duggan, Wendy & Alston Harris. Grandchildren: Shenae, Skye-Blue, Raign, Star-Lyte, Alexis Clea & Sian. Great grandchildren: Genevieve, Jayce, Darrius & Maylene. Nephews/neices: Butch, Richlin, Errol, Jacqueline & Minerva He was predeceased by his parents,
Jusin & Lyra Duggan, and his siblings Shirley Allicock & Marlene George. He received his education and Skills Training in MacKenzie (Linden), Guyana, and was employed as a Welder at SPROSTONS DRY DOCK, BRITISH GUIANA (GUYANA). He emigrated to Canada in the early 1960's and in 1969 was initiated into UA LOCAL 46, PLUMBERS & STEAMFITTERS UNION & worked under their umbrella as a WELDER, throughout the Province of Ontario, until his retirement. George was very generous and he was dapper, a chef-extraordinaire, a standup comedian, loved music & played the piano & guitar. In retirement, a meaningful activity every Friday, was meeting up with his Union buddies at Local 46 on Warden Ave for card games.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George (Bing) Duggan, a beloved husband, father, and friend. George lived his life with unwavering kindness and understanding, touching the hearts of everyone he met especially through humor.. His gentle spirit and compassionate nature were a beacon of light in our lives.
George was a loving father who cherished every moment spent with his children, instilling in them the values of love, respect, and compassion for one and all. As a husband and father he created a family partnership built on trust and mutual respect with understanding knowing we are all a work in progress. His friendships were deep and meaningful; he had an extraordinary ability to connect with others and make them feel valued.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who were part of George's life. Your love and support meant the world to him and enriched his journey.
Cheers to a life well lived! George rededicated his life back to God, finding peace and purpose in his faith. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire us all.
Rest in peace, dear Daddy; you will be profoundly missed. ♡ I love you to the moon and back!
