It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of George Nikitopoulos after a battle with cancer at the age of 76.

Loving husband of Roula. Cherished father of Helen, Aspasia and Nikoleta. Incredibly proud grandfather of Marcus and Calysta. Father-in-law to James, Sotiri and Stratos, and baby brother to Christos and Maria.

George, aka: "Poutsoulas", was known to his friends and family for his love of fishing, playing pool, travelling, and get togethers. He was a billiard pro, and eventually owned a billiard hall of his own. He had a love of music, and was often heard singing his favorite Greek songs.

Roula and his 3 daughters would like to thank the friends and family who provided their love and support throughout his health challenges, and our difficult times. We are especially thankful to Dr. Borchuk, and the palliative care team. We are forever grateful for your compassionate care and incredible patience.

In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital.
