How life changes, and how others change your life with one small act, and if your lucky a series of many. You may not know at the ripe age of 4, Uncle Mel signed me up for hockey with Scotty and then told my parents they should get equipment. Story according to Dad/Mom so other details left out, however it has always been a big part of my life and helped form who I am today. Of course, Aunt Marie watched me until I was a 10 and still smile when she tells the story of how I stood up to larger fellows when needed in her driveway. Hockey helped with that too. Helping them move a few years ago brought back so many great memories and will cherish them forever. Aunt Marie visited when my granddaughter turned one and that was really special for everyone and great to make a new one. Her glowing smile and wonderful laugh! Enough said for now. Love both you forever!
Dearest Dad: It hurts so much to have to let you go. You were a great father, and a great man. We will miss you so much and always love you.
Have fond memories of Mr. Gregory. He'll be missed.
My condolences to Aunt Marie and my cousins Paul, Janine and Scott.
What I remember most about my Uncle Mel was that he always had a smile on his face. I have no memory when he didn't.
I met Mel at Joe and Lucy's wedding and have seen him a few times over the years when I was in TO visiting. So sorry for your loss. The Gregory's are a very special family.
