After a brief stay in Markham Stouffville Hospital, George passed away on Tuesday, December 25th at the age of 88. He was predeceased by his wife Anna and his son Alfred. Dear father of George (Brenda) and Maryanne McManus. Loving Opa to Stephanie, Andrea (Adam), Heather, Michael (Dayna), Christopher and Allana. Very special Opa to Callum, Madison, Avery and Taylor. Dear brother to Elisabeth Menges. Predeceased by siblings Rosalia Eschli, Katharina Genzinger, Michael Berger, Josef Berger, Martin Berger and Anna Berger.

Visitation will be held at PINE HILLS CEMETERY AND FUNERAL CENTRE 625 Birchmount Rd. Scarborough on Sunday, December 30th from 4 - 8 pm and also on Monday, December 31st from 10 – 11am. Funeral Service will begin at 11 am. Interment at Pine Hills Cemetery.
