Genereuse Nyiraganira
February 8th, 1948 - July 26th, 2025


The late Genereuse Nyiraganira was born February 8th, 1948, died peacefully on Saturday July 26th, 2025 at the Princess Margaret Hospital succumbing to her battle against cancer, she was 77 years old.
She was the first born of a family of 9 to parents who were devout Catholics in Raaza Parish in Rwanda. Genereuse got married to Elias Nzabarinda on September 19, 1964, this year would have been their 61st wedding anniversary, from this union they produced 9 children.
She died surrounded by immediate family members, caregivers and medical professionals who offered excellent care throughout her illness.
Genereuse will be lovingly remembered by her husband Elias, 8 children (Agnes, Theophile, Beatrice, Fulgence, Leonie, Gerard, Dahlia and Elyse), twenty-five grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, sons and daughter-in-law and other relatives.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am
