Gary Kendall

December 6, 1946 -  January 16, 2021

KENDALL, Gary Wayne


Passed away suddenly at Centenary Hospital on January 16, 2021 at the age of 74. Gary will be dearly missed by daughter Sara (Reon), brother Vernon (Linda), sisters Valerie Rodrigues (Bryan) and Ivy Hong (Stephen). He is predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Kendall and by his parents Francis Alexander and Pearl Daisy Kendall. Gary also leaves behind sister in law Marilyn Cummins (Charles) and brother in law Bob Sleep (Julie) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Gary will be forever remembered for his love of fishing and bowling. He will be dearly missed by all of those who were touched by this caring and giving man. Due to COVID-19, no formal funeral service will be held and a celebration of Gary’s life is planned for the future. Arrangements entrusted to THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787). Donations will be gratefully accepted for the Heart and Stoke Foundation or the Lung Association.
