February 24, 1930 - September 1, 2025

Born in Hong Kong on February 24th, 1930, Fung King Tang Wong passed peacefully in her sleep at age 95 on September 1st, 2025, in Scarborough at Midland Gardens Long Term Care facility.

Predeceased by her husband, Chung Yim Wong, and son Janssen Ming Tung, Fung King is survived by her elder son, Ronald (Jean), daughters Cynthia (Tim) and Mandy (Paul), daughter-in-law Sau Lin; seven grandchildren Kim (Gavin), Wiseman, Sharon (Michel), Tiffany (Lee), Derrick (Matina), Michelle (Elton), Andrew (Thao); and five great-grandchildren Mason, Cole, Lincoln, Audrey and Aidan. She will be dearly missed.

The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the Scarborough Health Network in Mrs. Wong's name, for the care they provided her in past years at the Birchmount campus.

Mrs Wong was a strong matriarch. I have known her since my teenage years as "Bak Mo" as she was my sister's mother in law. She welcomed my husband and I into her home during our honeymoon. She always ensured that we ate out at great restaurants during our visits in Hong Kong and Toronto. Though not directly related, I she always made us welcomed. She will be greatly missed.
