Passed away suddenly at age 87 at Scarborough General Hospital. Survived by wife, Alice (nee Omatsu), daughter Frances (Jackmen), sons Floyd, Bob (Joanne) &Joe, grandchildren Jason, Amanda, Drew, Nick and Matthew.

Although I did not know Mr. Mayede for very long or very well, I observed a quiet, but strong family man who worked well into his 60's to support his family.
When I did visit, he was always very gracious and kind to both myself and my daughters.
My heart goes out to the family losing their husband/Dad so close to Christmas. My prayers are that Mr. Mayede is at peace now after two years of suffering.
