Peacefully with his family by his side our dear Father, Husband and Opa took his last breath on Wednesday, March 10th at 8:46 am.
He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of almost 60 years Inge, loving children; Harald and his wife Monique, Andreas and his wife Shannon, Denise and her husband Ian and his cherished grandchildren Cody, Mitchell, Nicholas, Liam and Chiara who he all adored.
Our Father, Husband and Opa was so very much loved by all who knew him. His sense of humour and personality lit up a room. He was the life of a party, and always enjoyed being with people. His family was the most important thing in his life.
He had many names that he went by…he was either Friedrich, Fritz or Fred to you. He was born on August 23, 1938 in Aflenx-Land, Austria and immigrated to Canada on July 22nd, 1959.
We will miss your smiling face. Until we meet again!
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 12 at 2pm. at the Meadowvale Funeral Centre in Brampton. Due to current restrictions, attendance is by invitation only.
