Frederick Webster
1937 - 2023

Frederick Henry Webster, known to his loved ones as Fred, passed away peacefully with Family by His side on July 1, 2023 at the age of 86 in Oshawa, Ontario. Born on January 23, 1937 in Toronto, Ontario, Fred was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his sons Dave, Doug, and Darryl, as well as his Daughters-in-law Robin, Dale and Sharon. Fred also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren Tod, Darrin, Alicia, Darryl, Derek and Jessica, and his great-grandchildren Dakota, Dylan, Devon, Khloe, Drayden and Darrien.

Fred dedicated 25 years of his life to serving the community as a Toronto Fire Fighter. He bravely put himself in harm's way to protect and save others, leaving a lasting impact on the lives he touched.

Outside of his career, Fred found joy in the company of his second family at the local coffee shop. He cherished the friendships he made there and the daily conversations over a warm cup of coffee.

A memorial service will be held on July 15 at 12pm at Simple Alternatives Funeral Home, located at 1057 Brock Road in Pickering, Ontario. Family and friends are invited to gather and remember Fred's life, sharing stories and memories that will forever keep his spirit alive.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Your support will help continue the fight against cancer, a cause that was close to Fred's heart.

Fred's memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends. He will be remembered for his bravery, kindness, and the love he shared with those around him.

Sending all the Webster family my deepest sympathy. Fred was a big part of the Henderson family for years. Always offering a helping hand after our dad passed like a big brother to me. Him and sister Joan opened their home to me to live while I was attending high school and again for my wedding reception. Fred loved playing guitar and country music and I loved singing along with him we made a great duo and yes he is why country music is still my favorite. Rest in Peace Fred say hi to all the Hendersons for me until we met again...Love Betty
