GOODWIN, FREDA LILY MARIE August 8, 1933 – August 18, 2023. With tremendous love we say goodbye to the light that tied our lives together.

Nine days after her 90th birthday, Freda Lily Marie Goodwin joined many people she loved dearly who had left before her.

Freda leaves behind many friends and family including daughters Diana (Joe), Lynn (Julian) and Lisa (David). Her brother Melvin (Judy), sister Lois (Bob). Grandchildren Michael, Kate (Cliff), Kyle (Danielle), Rebecca (Mike), Dakota and Aris. Great-granddaughters Maeve and Sloane. Fondly remembered by special friend Al Figueira. Dorothy and Alex, Nancy, and many other friends and extended family.

A visitation will be held at Pine Hills Funeral Centre and Cemetery (625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough) on Friday August 25th, 2023 @ 1-2pm with a service beginning at 2pm. Luncheon to follow.

Although I had only met with Freda a few times, she meant a lot to my husband Grant MacCallum and his daughter Crystal. Crystal was her Goddaughter and loved her dearly.
