Fred Siegfried Lorenz, aged 85 years of Caledon East ON, passed away suddenly due to a fall.
Fred had a long life working in all modes of transportation from the Canadian Naval Air where he learned to fly, then to the railroad then on to building planes with De Havilland and finally driving long-haul transport across the continent.
He was predeceased by his mother (Helene), and younger brother, Rudy. Survived by loving wife Brenda of 33 years, children Steven, Sherry, Parry, Christine, Laura, Danny, seven grandchildren and sister-in-law Anita.
Fred will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Respecting Fred’s wishes there will be no visitation. A grave side service will be held on Friday Nov 5th at 11am at Assumption Cemetery 6933 Tomken Rd (at Derry Rd) Mississauga, ON where friends and family will be welcome. Please wear a mask at the request of the Cemetery due to Covid-19 restrictions.
