Hoping good will to all and for a happy memory of Fred to be held in our thoughts into the distance future.
We will miss our good friend, Fred. He was our bridge partner for many years . Such a good humoured and gentle-man .May he rest in peace after such a lengthy struggle with illness.
We miss playing bridge & sharing meals with Fred & Marilyn for over 50 years in Toronto and Sarasota. Fred’s steady & good nature made him a friend to treasure.
We enjoyed a wonderful friendship with both Marilyn & Fred over many years, especially during the many winters we spent together in Sarasota, Florida.
Many wonderful memories !!!!!
Fred will be sadly missed.
My late husband Syd and I have been close friends with Fred and Marilyn for over 60 years. We started out as new parents and neighbours in Willowdale in 1963. Many memories of happy times there and their homes in Calgary, Muskoka, Sarasota before they moved to Thornhill. Fred has battled his illness the last 8 years and has been very stoic and never complained, not to us anyway. Somehow he and Syd have ended up with adjoining niches at York Cemetery so there is talk of bridge to continue……
