In memory of

Fred Graham

April 28, 1932 -  March 4, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fred Graham, who left us peacefully at the age of 91 with his family by his side. Son of the late Alexander and Olga Graham and younger brother to Sophia. Fred lived a remarkable life that touched the lives of many. He is survived by his beloved wife, Freda, with whom he has shared 67 years of marriage. Fred was a devoted family man and proud father to Byron(Christina), Robert (Karen), and Craig (Joanne). He loved his grandchildren deeply and was an adored Pappou to Andrea (Collin), Alex, Athan, Sarah, Theo, and David.

Fred leaves behind a legacy of service to his family, friends, the church and community through his unwavering support and unconditional love for all. He lived with compassion, humility, understanding and an enduring commitment to being fair and righteous.

Growing up in Toronto, he attended Jesse Ketchum P.S., Jarvis Collegiate and Ryerson Institute of Technology, where he developed a passion for electronics. He achieved great success in business, enjoying a long career spanning over 35 years with General Electric Medical Systems, where he served as the Vice President of Canadian Operations.

Fred always had his dearest Freda by his side as they raised their growing family, setting the foundation of strength in love, faith and endurance to achieve. A devout believer, Fred, along with Freda, participated in the creation and development of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, where they sang in the choir, held board positions and made everlasting and cherished friendships.

Tea Lake, almost synonymous with Fred and adventure, will hold a special place in his heart. Lasting memories and friendships, countless regattas, snowmobile excursions, waterskiing, fishing, canoeing, swimming and enjoying the sounds of big band amongst all his grandchildren’s laughter will never be forgotten at the cottage. The “Graham Road” he built proudly paves the path for memories to continue for his family and the cottage community.

His journey was one of kindness, resilience, and wisdom. A loving patriarch and an example to many, he leaves a legacy of family, friends, and countless lives touched by his generosity and love.

The family will receive friends at the MT. PLEASANT FUNERAL CENTRE, 375 Mt. Pleasant Rd., on Thursday March 7, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be Friday March 8 at 10:00 a.m at ALL SAINTS GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 222 Burbank Drive, with Interment and reception to follow at Mt Pleasant Cemetery.

Donations if you wish, can be made to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church (416) 221-4611, or The Hellenic Home for the Aged www.hellenichome.org/online-donation/

I grew up on tea Lake and my grandparents were originals on the lake with Fred and Frieda. He was a wonderful man. Condolences to the Graham family. He will be missed!

Seven doors up from us lived “The Grahams”. We consider ourselves very lucky to have had Fred and Freda so close to us for over forty eight years. Years of friendship, laughter and love!
Fred was a wonderful person as well as kind and humble. He loved his boys and was very proud of them and their families. His love, dedication and support of his wife Freda stands as a testament to his strength and love of her. He absolutely loved going up to Tea Lake to the cottage he build himself for his family. The packing up of the car each weekend was a sight to behold.
Fred was always most welcoming of our visits and was always a great host.
In the last couple of years, even with his declining health he remained steadfast and never lost his unique sense of humour. Johnston Ave will never be the same without you Fred. Soar with the angles until we meet again, dear friend.
Good bye dear friend. Soar with
