January 29, 1984 - April 27, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Franz Velez. Franz peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 27th 2021 at the age of 37. Loving son of Nimfa and the late Jose Antonio Velez. He is survived by his Daughter Olivia Rose & loving Wife Mary Diane. He will be greatly missed by his Siblings Patrick, Caryl, Bernardo & Dan Michael as well as his Parents in law Maria Susan & Maximiano Gamboa.
Franz was a deeply principled, conscientious and devoted man. Nothing was more important to him than his family. He was a warm and fun loving man with a great sense of humour. He was a passionate sports fan and his love of music would often lead to impromptu karaoke sessions and his love of movies meant that he had the appropriate quote for any situation.
He will be missed for his kindness, patience and generosity. We are deeply saddened by his passing, but grateful for the time we had with him. Franz your love of superheroes was undeniable but in the end it was you who showed your superpowers and become a hero to all of us.
