Francesco Pierino Baffa -

Born November 2, 1937 in Falconara Albanese, Calabria, Italy. Died June 29, 2016 in Toronto from complications of pneumonia.

Loving husband to Frances. Caring father to Vince (Chiara), David (Emma), and Nancy (Gino). Proud grandfather to Matthew, Jenna, Ava and David. Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Frank, as he was known, emigrated to Canada in 1959 and worked as a tailor until he opened his own Pierre's Custom Tailor shop in 1975. He retired in 2009.

Frank loved his family, cooking, listening to opera, golfing and watching football. A man of simple pleasures he will be loved and missed forever by his family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Our thoughts and prayers go to the Baffa and Colangelo family. Frank's talent with a needle a thread gave us a cherished memory as he tailored Denis' suit for our wedding. The table of angels got stronger this week as another guardian angel watches over us. RIP Frank.
