In memory of

Frances (Fran) Harron

February 20, 1954 -  September 25, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Fran Harron announce her sudden passing on September 25th, 2024. Fran passed away peacefully in her sleep. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband (John Harron) of 49 years. She will also be dearly missed by her sons Michael (Nadine) and Kevin (Brandi) and grandchildren Saige (to whom she was Oma), Jax and Wyatt (to whom she was Yammie). They will miss her humour and hugs. Fran was also a loving sister to Ben, Alex, and Ray. Fran is predeceased by her parents, Fred and Minnie Spreen to whom she was a loyal daughter. She will be missed by her many cousins, nieces and nephews here and in the Netherlands. With an obvious passion for quilting, Fran enjoyed attending retreats, belonging to quilting guilds, and regularly volunteering for quilts for cancer Peterborough. Fran was a good friend to all and an active community member. She will be missed forever but never forgotten.

The Harron Family requests that those who wish to express sympathy would consider a donation in Fran’s name to Quilts for Cancer, Peterborough. Flowers can also be sent to The Simple Alternative – Pickering.

You were an amazing Mother and Yammie. You commanded any room you walked into with humour, character and strength. You made Kevin and I into the people we are today. I’ll always cherish the times you cheated at board games and then played innocent when we caught you. You were never afraid to get down on the floor to play with your grandchildren. You will be forever in our hearts. I love you ma! Rest well.

I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, As long as I'm living, my mother you'll be.
