Fotis Antoni
August 2, 1949 – November 28, 2023

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Fotis (Frost) Antoni on November 29, 2023, from complications of Parkinson’s disease.

Frost was born on August 2, 1949 in Marathovounos, Cyprus. In 1952, he moved to London, England with his parents, Zenon and Maria (deceased), his brother Elia (deceased), and his sister Georgina. Later, the family expanded with the arrival of two more sisters, Lucy and Terry, before moving again to Toronto, Canada in September of 1964.

Frost developed a love for the Toronto Maple Leafs and would never miss a game. The family moved back to England in 1967, which unfortunately, was the year the Leafs won the Stanley Cup. Sadly, Frost never got to see his beloved Leafs raise the cup.

Frost had a successful career in the garment industry before becoming a highly awarded window salesman for Sears Canada, where he worked until retirement.

He was an animal lover and owned many dogs and cats over the years. Recently, he lost his constant and faithful companion, Blue.

Frost's happiest times were spent at his cottage on Lake Kasshabog where he enjoyed the company of family and friends for many years.

Frost is survived by his sister Gina (Paul), sister Lucy (Ken), sister Terry (Reg), and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Visitation will take place on Friday, December 8, 2023, at York Cemetery and Funeral Centre at 1:00 pm. The service will begin at 2:00 pm, followed by interment at York Cemetery until 4:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you consider donating to Parkinson Canada or the Ontario SPCA in memory of Frost.

It has been an incredible struggle for you for many years. It’s time now to rest in peace and hopefully reflect on the days when your life had so many wonderful memories at home and at the cottage. We will miss your unique sense of humour and the countless card games. which you won on a regular basis. always finishing it off with a little taunting smirk on your face. Your future travels through the universe will always be accompanied by your passed companions, Blue, Sam, Bubba, Tasha, Whiskey, Pepe and Kitty.Travel on dear Frost, we love you and will miss you so much.

My most sincere condolences to the family on the loss of your beloved brother. He was fortunate to have such loving support to allow him to live his life on his terms, where he wished to be. May he rest in the peace he has been denied for so long.

Even though it’s been a while since we spent time together, I am so sad to see you go. I miss the good times that we had and will hold tightly all the fond memories-especially at the cottage. Your house, pinball machines and love of animals are just a few of the great memories I have. Your grouchiness didn’t phase me, we still had good times. Miss you. Love Michael and family
